What did Mrs. Thompson do? She was "charged" with sneaking off in search of a pot of gold while working at Elizabethtown Middle School during the Bladen County Educational Foundation Annual Jail-A-Thon! Thankfully, Elizabethtown Middle School Cougars - along with Dublin Primary Leprechauns - came to the rescue and helped post her bail, proving once again that teamwork (and a little mischief) goes a long way!

Creativity has been on full display in Mrs. Edwards’ class at Elizabethtown Middle School! 🧡🖤

Students kicked things off by creating unique puzzle pieces for an “All About Me” activity, celebrating what makes each individual special and how we all fit together as one school community. 🧩

To celebrate Read Across America Week, students brought literature to life by stacking their own Yertle the Turtle creations—showcasing both creativity and a love for reading! 📚🐢

They also explored science by designing frogs that illustrate the life cycle, connecting learning across subjects in a fun and meaningful way. 🐸

We are so proud of our Cougars for their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning!
