Bladen County Schools is excited to announce a new opportunity to join our team in partnership with Student U and the North Carolina Community Schools Coalition. We are seeking a Community Schools Coordinator (CSC) to serve at Elizabethtown Middle School beginning January 2026.

This role is at the heart of building strong school-community partnerships. The CSC will work directly with students, families, staff, and local organizations to:

✅ Build relationships and identify community needs and assets.
✅ Launch and support a School Advisory Board to guide a shared vision for success.
✅ Open and coordinate a Family Resource Center to provide vital supports like food, clothing, and benefits access.
✅ Connect students and families with enrichment opportunities, expanded learning, and wraparound services.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about equity, collaboration, and helping every child and family thrive. With a strong benefits package and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in Bladen County, this position is more than a job—it’s a chance to be part of transformational work in education.

Through the district’s Beginning Teacher program, these educators will continue to receive guidance, resources, and encouragement throughout their first three years in the classroom — because great teaching grows with great support.
